SAW exists to promote the visual arts and create opportunities for visual artists and makers in Somerset by advocacy, promotion and development. SAW manages Somerset Art Week, a two week visual arts festival that now runs every year. The Art Weeks are the largest visual arts event in Somerset. Open studios, special events and exhibitions are held throughout the county to provide a unique opportunity for people to meet artists and see their work.
